ABS Riding Academy
Riding & Driving Instruction For All Ages
Whether you’re interested in pursuing the adventure of competition in the show ring, or just want a fun, healthy outdoor activity to develop core strength and balance, ABS Riding Academy can tailor your instruction to suit your ability, experience and goals. Not sure you’re ready to throw a leg over? We also offer driving instruction, a great equine sport for any age or athletic ability.
Our English riding lessons are safe, fun and friendly. We are licensed, fully insured and have both indoor and outdoor arenas for all weather enjoyment. We’re closed Mondays, but lessons can be scheduled for any other day of the week.
What does it cost?
Lessons are $50 per half hour of ride time or drive time, beginner through advanced. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to a $50 cancellation fee, except in cases of bad weather or sudden illness.
We also offer package and other discounts. Please call or email us for details.
What should I wear?
You must wear long pants and closed toed shoes for your lesson. Shorts, skirts and capri pants are not acceptable. Sandals or open-toed/heeled shoes are not safe. The preferred attire is riding jodpurs and boots. For more detail on riding attire and where to buy or order it, visit our Apparel page.

Horse Shows
We take our lesson horses to several shows year round for Academy classes, which are a great way to experience showing without the expense of a full and proper wardrobe or ownership of a horse. Students may share the show expenses for our academy horses. Families and friends are welcome to attend to support and cheer!
